I consider every day as precious, especially at my age. But I am always happy and relieved to bid farewell to January. Winters in the Northeast can be hard on us older folks, and even though February is statistically the snowiest month for us, I feel as though once we make it through January, we are on the downhill slide to spring.
And with Ash Wednesday falling on February 14 this year, the arrival of spring feels even closer.
I am always happy to turn the calendar page to February!
